The National Kidney Foundation of Hawaii (NKFH) is working on many new initiatives to address the needs expressed by living donors, families and those considering donation. Joining the Living Donor Council can be the first step in expressing those needs.
The issues surrounding living donation are unique. Donors may have serious questions and fears related to medical, emotional, financial and relationship concerns that can be addressed by another living donor. NKFH encourages donors, potential donors and family members to connect with one antoher through the Living Donor Council.
