Mission Statement
The mission of the National Kidney Foundation of Hawaii, a major voluntary health organization, is to prevent kidney and urinary tract diseases, to improve the health and well-being of individuals and families affected by these diseases, and to increase the availability of all organs and tissue for transplantation in Hawaii.

Youth Programs
Through our interactive and educational children's presentations, children learn about the importance of kidneys to our bodies, and how to live a healthy lifestyle. Speaker relate their experiences of diabetes, high blood pressure control, dialysis treatment and receiving an organ transplant. The highlight of the classroom visit is the appearance of our kidney mascot "Sidney Kidney!"
