Reflection on Life

Bill and Harris had a lot in common, although they may never have met. Both were heart transplant patients; both supported Team Hawaii; both were amazingly positive; and both understood the importance of family and friends; and, both are sorely missed for their humor, their warmth, their team spirit and their love.

At Bill’s funeral, Pastor Elwin Ahu of New Hope Christian Fellowship presented a message of comfort and hope. He said that there are three things we should carry away from the service. They were:

· To remember the wonderful things of our lives and to document them. Take more pictures of your children; spend more quality time with your spouse; enjoy the beauty that is around you.

· To review your life; get a little perspective. See what is good and what maybe needs a course correction. Then,

· To refocus on what’s truly important.

Bill and Harris are sorely missed. We send their families and friends our prayers and best wishes.
