What has NKFH done?
Dining for a Cause was created to address two very important issues in Hawaii - combating and raising awareness about Hawaii’s rapidly escalating Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) and Diabetes and Hypertension epidemics while helping the Hawaii Restaurant Association facilitate healthy life programs. In addition, we want this movement to inspire restaurants to create healthy menu options for all the people of Hawaii and teach their customers about healthy, Kidney Friendly dishes.

Our average restaurant donation for this promotion is between $500 - $1,500. In addition to the cause:
- You will be part of a media campaign over 10 weeks that includes television, radio, print advertisements, in addition to exposure through the website, weekly online newsletters and social media platforms.
- Each week during the 10-week campaign, we will feature the restaurants on all our media outlets, ensuring your restaurant’s name and logo will be prominently featured

National Kidney Foundation of Hawaii (NKFH) agrees to provide your restaurant with a NKFH 501(c)(3) tax-deductible donation letter.
Participating restaurant agrees to make a donation to the National Kidney Foundation of Hawaii (NKFH), and to only use the logos and images provided.
