The National Kidney Foundation of Hawaii will host its second annual "Da Kidney Da Kine Day" on Saturday Oct. 10 from 10am to 2pm at Lahaina Cannery Mall. We will offer free screenings to the public. Tests include: body measurements, Blood Glucose, Urinalysis, Blood Pressure, and Exit Interview with Clinician. In addition to the screening there will be free All Day entertainment from Kulewa Band, Jack Gist and Friends and Ka Pa Hula O Maui, Aunty Doll Hula. One in seven Hawaii residents currently lives with kidney disease. Through these early detection efforts, we can help you learn how to reduce your risk for kidney failure and continue to live a healthy and active lifestyle.
