More about Kidney Early Detection Screenings (KEDS)

Kidney Early Detection Screenings (KEDS) are multi-station screenings where participants will be tested on their blood pressure, height, weight, glucose, and urine. After testing, participants will have a one on one consultation with a clinical professional to interpret their results.

Am I at risk?

If you have diabetes, high blood pressure a family history of kidney failure, or are over the age of 60, please consider getting your kidneys examined. In Hawaii, 1 in 2 people are at risk for developing Chronic Kidney Disease. It is especially important for anyone ages 18 or older to get their kidneys examined and learn more about how they can prevent kidney disease.

How do I sign up for a KEDS screening?

Signing up is easy! To pre-register for a screening, please contact Jennifer Hernandez at jennifer@kidneyhi.org or (808) 589-5903.
