More information about the Clinical Practice Guidelines. The Guidelines have been widely adopted in the United States and abroad and have been a stimulus for several national renal organizations to develop their own Guidelines. They have been translated into at least a dozen languages, have been the focus of numerous quality improvement activities, and have served as the basis for clinical performance measures developed by Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services and other organizations.
