The National Kidney Foundation of Hawaii is celebrating World Kidney Day in Honolulu by hosting a free kidney health screening at the Ala Moana Hotel on Friday, March 11th. In Hawaii, 1 in 2 people are at risk for developing Chronic Kidney Disease. It is important for anyone ages 18 and older to get a snapshot of their current kidney health and learn more about preventing kidney disease. If you have diabetes, high blood pressure, a family history of kidney failure, or are over the age of 60, you are at risk and should have your kidneys checked.
