World Kidney Day 2016

World Kidney Day 2016

The National Kidney Foundation of Hawaii is celebrating World Kidney Day in Honolulu by hosting a free kidney health screening at the Ala Moana Hotel on Friday, March 11th.  In Hawaii, 1 in 2 people are at risk for developing Chronic Kidney Disease.  It is important for anyone ages 18 and older to get a snapshot of their current kidney health and learn more about preventing kidney disease.  If you have diabetes, high blood pressure, a family history of kidney failure, or are over the age of 60, you are at risk and should have your kidneys checked.

Join us for our free Kidney Health Screening

Friday, March 11th, 8:30am-12:00pm

Ala Moana Hotel, Garden Lanai Room

410 Atkinson Drive, Honolulu, HI 96814

Kidney Early Detection Screenings (KEDS) are multi-station screenings where participants will be tested on their blood pressure, height and weight measurements, blood glucose and urine.  After testing, participants will have a one on one consultation with a clinical professional to interpret their results.  Anyone interested in participating are asked to pre-register by calling 808-589-5903 or emailing
